Bible Studies Continuing and About to Begin/Resume Include …

Please join us here at Immanuel at one or more of our Bible classes offered during the week as well as on the weekends. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the church office.         

 

Adult Bible Classes …

†  Saturday Evening Adult Bible Class  In an effort to not ignore the Saturday evening worshippers, we will try to start a Bible study class after the 5:30 p.m. worship service this September.  If you would like to see this happen please plan to meet in Room 1 on Saturday, September 6, shortly after the worship service.  See you there/then!(?)

†  Sunday Morning School Location Adult Bible Class will resume its study of “Prayer” on Sunday, September 7, after the combined classes opening devotion.  As in the past, it will meet in the Staff Meeting Room.

†  Adult Lutheran Information Class will begin on Sunday, September 7, at 8:50-9:40 a.m. in Room 1.  Pastor Marks will lead the class.  Anyone can attend.  If you know of someone who might like to learn about Lutheran doctrine, history, and practice, please invite them to attend.

†  Friday Berean Adult Bible Class has resumed after its July break due to construction and began a study of “The Book of Revelation” this past Friday, August 8.  It meets on Fridays at 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Room.  New participants are always welcome!

†  Sing A New Song! Our God Does Marvelous Things A women’s Bible study for ages 20-35 (but all ages are welcome) will begin on Wednesday, August 20.  Fellowship will be at 6:45 p.m. and Bible study at 7:00 p.m.  It will continue for 6 weeks on the 1^st & 3^rd Wednesdays of each month.  The group will use a devotion book from CPH titled “A New Song: Planted by Streams of Water”.  The studies will focus on the Psalms of Divine Wisdom.  Join us in reflecting and meditating on the Psalms … together.  If you are interested, please sign up in the church library or call the office.  Please let us know if you need a babysitter.

Thursday Night Bible Study  (6:00 p.m.)

“How To Be A Contagious Christian” led by Pastor Cole in Room 1.

 

Friday Afternoon Berean Bible Class  (1:00 p.m.)

“The Book of Revelation” led by Pastor Handrick in the Fellowship Room.

“Practices and Disciplines of a Christian” led by Pastor Cole in the Fellowship Room.
